Templates
HTMgen32 uses templates to generate the
HTML code of your document.

Default template
The default template is used on all objects
in this page. It creates a conservative
layout, and uses only standard HTML tags.
(No special features for MS Inetrnet Explorer
or Netscape Navigator). On the end of
each page, it adds a link to the HTMgen32
homepage, and the Blue Ribbon homepage.
Private Template
The Private template is a copy of the
Default template, where the two links
at the end of each page is removed.
Your own templates
With some knowdledge of HTML
programming, you can easily make your
own templates, with your own layout.
To do this, copy one of the existing
template sets to new filenames and
edit the macros.
There are three textfiles for each template.
- Template.hdr.txt - defines the layout of
all new pages.
- Template.pgh.txt - defines the layout of
all paragraphs.
- Template.lnk.txt - defines the layout of
all links.
The syntax of the template files and their macros
are documented in the template files. The templates
are located in the "template" subdirectory.
Overriding template defaults
The templates define the font and formatting
of your header and text. You can override
these default values by pressing the
formatting buttons.
To set the formatting back to default,
press the selected button.
